Phew! As you can tell by the title of this post - I've got a lot going on here at The Classroom Game Nook! All good things, of course!
First off, I hit 500 FB fans (Yippie!) Our little community is growing and I LOVE it!
If you haven't yet joined the party, what are you waiting for?
So, I asked the folks over at FB what they would prefer as a way to celebrate: sale at my stores, or freebie, and I got a resounding "FREEBIE!" from the crowd. And - I aim to please - so I made a cute little freebie game for you to use around Valentine's Day. The best part - the game is ready to be printed and you can customize it with questions to fit your needs/curriculum! I know that I've got a wide spectrum of grade levels that are following CGN as well as my Facebook and I didn't want to leave anyone out - so I thought this was the best route to go to include all my wonderful fans.
Check it out...
It's only available here at the blog, so you can snag it at the bottom of the post (see why it's so important to follow CGN and my Facebook??? Only the fans and followers get notification of these sweet freebies!!!)
Anyways, while I was creating this freebie, I got to thinking about all of the holidays that are going on in February (Groundhog Day, Superboal Sunday, 100th Day of School, Black History Month, Valentine's Day and President's Day) Phew! That's a lot! And, if we all try to keep up with it by ourselves, we will get over-whelmed - so why not put all our resources in one spot!
I would love for you to all participate in my "February Holiday Games and Activities" Linky party!! If you've got a February Holiday-themed game or center activity, link it up below so we can all benefit from each other's hard work! Why re-invent the wheel, right?
I'll share a few of mine right here (some I've already mentioned in previous posts, but I'll put them here again in case you missed them. You can check out each by clicking on each picture!
First and for most, grab the Valentine's Day Game (shown above) available at the bottom of the post and celebrate 500 FB followers with me!
Second: I mentioned in here about my Groundhog Day Activities:
3 Free SMARTBoard Games:
Third, a set of math and literacy activities for Groundhog Day
Fourth, some Valentine's Day Common Core center games (mainly for older grades)
Fifth, a freebie game to celebrate 100 days of school, (snag it in this post...)
And Finally, I just updated this fun little President's Day freebie:
Now it's your turn! Link up and share!
Just a couple guidelines:
1) Please make sure that you send us directly to the blog post that contains the game/activity or the store link that brings it right to the specific product!
2) Share the love by commenting on the blog of the person's that linked up before you (just a nice way to connect with your fellow bloggies!)
3) Make sure the game/activity is related to February Holidays/Special Days!
4) If you are linking back to a blog post, please be sure to grab my blog button to place in your post. This way everyone will know where to come to see all the other great holiday activies.
Thanks so much and I look foward to seeing all of your great creations!
